kronosposeidonsays...God I hope Iraq will be stable. After all the death and suffering for Iraqis, Americans, and the coalition partners, peace is something everyone desperately needs now. I have serious doubts about long-term stability in Iraq, but for now I'll try to be hopeful.
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Military) - requested by kronosposeidon.

It's the middle east, what could possibly go wrong?
NetRunnersays...In other news, John McCain says we should be thanking Bush for having finally brought us Victory in Iraq:

(Preserved in infamy here if that gets deleted/changed)
BoneyDsays...Ahh! I knew there was a catch, there is a remaining 'non-combat' force of about 56,000. These will still be trained to carry out attacks, working alongside private contractor personnel (which are having their presense doubled!).
So it's essentially business as usual, we just won't hear about it.
Edit: Ohh btw, the contractors will be carrying out Predator drone strikes. Certainly no problems predicted there.
csnel3says...Our government is just saying that we have left Iraq so they can attack Iran soon. We really arn't out of Iraq. Three wars just sounds like too much even for The CIA/Pentagon brass. 2 wars is apearantly Ok.
If we dont start up with Iran, Isreal will drag us in, I'll bet in less then 1 month from now.
