the only one i can see with a katana is Bill, and that's a Hanzo sword, made in Japan.

I'm pretty sure those are Chinese swords, though I forget their actual name. Bill has a katana. I'm not sure what the black guy has.

David Carradine is so cool I was disappointed that he didn't have more scenes in those movies.

I think the spurting blood was right in line with the rest of the movies...

Absolutely, this would belong in vol. 1. And, when the hell are they going to release the director's cuts of these on BluRay?!

That's awesome! Straight up ripped right out of old hong kong kung fu movies. I wish the movie was more like this.

This and stuff like it was the entire reason i didn't like kill bill 1.. i've tried many times to watch it and find my love for it, but it doesn't happen. We left this sort of cinema behind for a reason, and i don't see how labelling it a "tribute" makes it anything other than poor. Honestly, believe me, i've tried to like it. Following this 2-parter up with death proof and the other thing just screams out to me that he's lost his touch and needs to have some time out to come up with some more of the best films ever made.

I could make a crap film and say it's a tribute to crap films, and the only reason you wouldn't lap it up is because i'm not quentin tarrentino with my cult following. Of course, i'd watch a bunch of crap films first to copy the stylings.

The second one i can just about handle because there's less trash like this in it, so i'm glad this was deleted, it makes the 2-part film barely acceptable.

This doesn't fit in the second film because not a single person is cut with a katana in the second film!

It's not a deleted scene, it's just an extra.
