MaxWildersays...Kinda destroys the flow of the song. Hilarious, but I would rather see the accurate info in more poetic terms if it's going to be in a song.
conansays...we've already had that one, but upvote nevertheless :-)

Of course. Wrote too quickly there.
brycewi19says...Am I crazy in thinking that I've seen this on the sift before?
Still, very cool sense of humor by Melua!
honkeytonk73says...Upvote for the 6000 light year sized universe.."According to America" comment. LOL. I tried to counter a creationist blathering about the great expanse and wonder of the universe. I got him to admit that the current observable universe was 13.7+ of light years in size... yet when I tried to explain to him the concept of the speed of light, and how it contradicted his 6000 year age of the universe. He just stared at me eyes glazed. Went right over his head. Even when I tried to carefully explain it.
mxxconsays...art be dammed! science wins!
fizzikssays...I'm not sure if this is technically a dupe since it's just a snippet taken from minute 13 of the full length TED talk by Michael Shermer:

I'll leave the dupiness decision to others. Either way, great clip, check out the whole talk.
