Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights

This track made Kate Bush the first woman to have a self-penned UK number one hit... and she was only 19.

Oh and was she special....and hot....is she still????? Then perhaps we should go for a swim in the river....! Man, she did not escape the cheesy eighties' viddy train crossing though, looks like here that it hit her head-on!!!

The song you're thinking of it "Experiment IV" a bonus track on her best of collection "The Whole Story". Her recent album "Aerial" (her first release in 12 years) is great (much better than "The Red Shoes").

You have to see this video in context. Kate was a student of Lindsey Kemp, the mime artist who also trained David Bowie. So, she was still very excited about the possibilities of using movement to express music.

Man, my daughter saw this after I posted Bush singing this last week... keeps asking to see it.

She's upstairs in her room singing it. I'm sure the door is shut because she's trying the dancing out too. Cute eh:

Here's her appearance live on Top of the Pops in 1978 as I think it's a much better video than the official video!
