MINKsays...oh my... that is... oh my that's awful. i lol'd very quietly.
volumptuoussays...Yeah, that was pretty bad. But he was obviously uninformed and made a mistake which he graciously apologized for and then asked for everyone else to stand up for him.
The McCain way to handle the situation (as he did with the old woman in the halls of congress) is to shove him out of his wheelchair.

siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Election08) - requested by NetRunner.
siftbotsays...Moving this video to zdonk's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
alien_conceptsays...I think he handled that fuck up really well

siftbotsays...Sending this video to Beggar's Canyon to plea for a little attention - beg requested by original submitter zdonk.
swampgirlsays...Hilarious
rottenseedsays...after this he proceeded to dance around Chuck, chanting "look what I can do, look what I can do..."
Xaxsays...It's so funny and ridiculous and absurd that the right points to silly little minor gaffes like these to counter criticism against Palin, who says she's an energy expert because she's surrounded by oil, is a foreign policy expert because she can see Russia from her house, and can't name a single magazine or newspaper she reads or a Supreme Court case she disagrees with besides Roe v. Wade.
Yeah, they're clearly equally dangerous.
BillOreillysays...I wish he was President, the amount of material he'd provide the late night shows would be astronomical.
Unfortunately, if he becomes Vice President, they'll never let him speak in public, therefore no more awkward gaffes.

This is actually a video about Biden, but if you want to discuss Palin, that's fine with me. I should point out, however, that you left the "s" out of "she", and mistakenly said "him" instead of "her."
Unfortunately, no one will remember her in a few more weeks.
bcglorfsays...And this why you should vote republican. The late night comedy shows will be stuck with little comic gaffes like this one. A real VP gives us much better fare for our late night shows, like shooting old men that look like birds.
siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'stand up, slip up' to 'stand up, slip up, gaffe, wheelchair, VP, CNN, democrat, Senator' - edited by deedub81
gskuc2003says...@Xax. Only "low information" voter types still believe that Sarah Palin actually said she could "see Russia from (my) house." That was actually a line from a SNL skit pitting a fake Palin against a fake Hillary Clinton in a debate. The progressive/liberal leaning snopes.com has trashed that politically deluded belief a long time ago. http://snopes.com/politics/palin/seealaska.asp
