Jesus is Everywhere! Even the MAGIC Kingdom!

Some kids at Disney World get the crap healed out of them BY JESUS.

I've heard much of this story.
It is not a parody. It's not comedy.
There's no WTF about it. This is what people saw and reported.
It is not lies in the eyes of those who where there. Were you there? My channel designations will be based on those who were there.
Let's be accurate, not hypocritically condescending.

Tags for this video have been changed from 'jesus, magic, healing, powers, like that guy from inFamous, without lightning' to 'jesus, healing, controversy, christianity' - edited by Doc_M

This is all anecdotal. The dude in the Cadillac shirt reeks of "set up". As a doctor, Doc_M, you should know better than "healing through Jesus". There is a difference between positivity through prayer/placebo effect and mystical bs.

Be mature about religious debate people. You think it is bunk? Describe why you think so. Start a discussion. Don't just tag this the way you feel. That's just aristocratic douchbaggery. Don't be a douche.

Doc_M, if you don't like my tags, feel free to down-vote the video.
Why put your creative license on my sift?

For videosift, tagging is not a creative liscence. It is an obligation of accuracy. Suppose I post a video of carebears and tag it with "horror, terror, concentration camp,war"... That would be inaccurate and it would be the JOB of people who have the rights to edit posts to correct it. I am exercising that right here. I've been a part of this community for a long time and have never excercised this right until now... I only want people who want to see this video to be able to see it based on the right tags, not those of someone who had no respect for those pictured.

It is a simple matter of discusion. Does "lies" help? No. Does "comedy" help? No.

Discuss it all you want, but don't tag with opinionated assumptions and prejudices.

That's youtube quality stuff there.
I have sent you a PM Knives. Please read it.

Though ^some people are bothered by tagomedy, I don't want anyone to be discouraged from practicing their craft. Furthermore, other members should not change another members' tagomedy just because it bothers them. It's grown to become an integral part of Sift culture, and most people enjoy reading as well as creating funny tags. What you should do in such a situation where your title and tags aren't sufficient for dupe prevention is add keywords to your video's summary to increase the chances it'll be discovered a dupe when others submit in the future.

I'm not really upset Doc, but I just thought I was "doing it right." My concern is that actively editing tags kind of devalues the power of the down-vote. If the community as a whole decides to upvote a sift, warts and all...

I understand the channel assignments, and I understand the request for MORE tags to make dupe searches easier, but if I want to be douchey in my tag choices, then those are my issues.

I wasn't around when that discussion took place but I will say the problem with that is I can't edit the summary of another person's post. So if they use up most of the tag space for "tagomedy", and the summary doesn't have phrases that are going to prevent dupes, you have to delete some of the posters tags. Not saying that's the case the here, it's obviously not. Just saying I think that the comedy/opinions etc should be kept in the summary and put tags that help the search and dupe process in the tag section. Just my opinion. On the other hand if your sift is tagged well and you have room to be funny or whatever in the tags .. knock yourself out. A lot of people tag for shit though. Not you KnivesOut .. just sayin .. Anyway .. I'll stfu now.

I apologize to anyone who was offended by my re-tagging and my changes in channels. I only hoped to disseminate preemptive decision-making to encourage reasonable thought and/or discussion. I don't think there is evidence of a "lies" tag and certainly not a "magic" tag as Christian healing is not considered by any theologians as "magic". Quite the opposite. Please don't let this discourage your thought or considerations. Don't mind me and take the video for what the video is worth. Believe it or not. Also, you might google it and see the other things people have claimed to see on this occasion.

Um, first off...the chicken or the egg debate starts with you. You changed the tags first...and you changed the channel assignments. If you want to open up a discussion about what they should be, then go right ahead. Or, you can just change them. But, what you can't do is change them and then justify calling those out who didn't put them in as you'd like to have seen them...

If somebody wants to put their own beliefs in their tags, then fine. Go ahead and find some atheist videos to submit and add the tag "bullshit" in there. It only goes to say how you feel about something. Mostly, we respect what each other puts in our own tags, unless it is absolute misinformation (ie. putting the wrong actor, or show name) or adding something to it that wasn't there before.

Nothing is keeping you from a debate. We all love to debate, but don't go effin' with the tags just because you don't agree.

Regarding the actual video,

There is not enough evidence, 'for' or 'against' what the individuals are saying as being correct. They seem to believe, something, heaveny, took place. Something that is within their religous view point. On the other hand, the only ones who talk about this, are those, who believe that religioun as truthful and correct. 'On the Fence', or the neutral point of view is, no one, from a religion other then Christianity, observed or interactd with the moment, these kids did.

So, just as some might say, nothing happen. The same could be said that something did happen. Its in the eye of the beholder.

And from my experiences with evengelical christianity (many years of it) I know that people can be hysterically convinced into believing all manner of magic and superstition. That's where my original tagging and channel assignments came from. I'm not retagging it because I understand Doc_M's intent, and I'm not douchey enough to get into a tag-war with him.

THIS IS LIES SIMPLY BECAUSE WE KNOW SCIENTIFICALLY THAT YOU CANNOT HEAL PEOPLE WITH JUSES.

The problem is christian healing is presented as science fact , not as a magic trick or hypnosis that is what makes it a lie because it operates on exploiting peoples lack of rationality or knowledge.

If i was to post a video about perpetual motion engine that was blatantly not a perpetual motion engine because the method had already been dis proven then it would be a appropriate to put *lies.

If this video is for real and not people joking about stupid christian behavior it is infact lies and retarded.

I was initially withholding a vote, because it wasn't exactly clear whether the OP was posting this as a joke or maybe as exposure to some shenanigans or if the OP actually believes this to be some kind of "miracle". As this video appears to currently stand, the fact that this is not in the "lies" or "comedy" channels and the fact that faith-based healing is, in fact, bullshit...I hereby exercise my first ever video down-vote! Thx democracy and thank *you* Videosift.
