NSFW because "F__k, it's a rock!"

Mapfre, one of the carbon fiber Volvo Ocean racing yachts, currently entering leg 7, had just won an in-port race (good for PR and sponsor relationships, because the rest of the action is WAY out on the sea out of sight of land).

They won the in-port nicely, got some more points toward the eventual race title---and while taking a victory lap past the wharf to wave at the fans---

well...

It ain't over until it's over.

Apparently, although the race committee agreed they could haul the boat and fix it, they are insisting everything will be ok with light maintenance.
