I think her reaction at the end was pretty close to mine after watching the tension of this scene

This scene is not nearly as powerful taken out of context of the movie...

kudos to Quentin for hiring German, French, English, etc actors to play their respective roles. Christoph Waltz (Landa) was fantastic, really stole the show from Pitt (who was still quite good in this movie).

I expect something closer to the French Revolution, myself. You know, where the poor and once-middle-class rend the wealthy limb from limb.

Of course, if the right wing gets its way, you may have the more accurate view, as the ignorant mobs rise up and rend the immigrants (documented or not) limb from limb.

Either way, the future is looking awful grim.
