Y'know, I enjoy hockey. And i've seen more than my fair share of hockey fights. Generally, they're mildly exciting, but this is just ridiculous. I'd like to assume that the reason it got so out of hand is because maybe other countries' refs have other rules. Once someone's down on the ice, it's no longer fun or funny, and it's the ref's job to step in. That's what they're getting paid for.
