The Mythbusters episode they did on dropping the seats was depressing - they said most likely your legs will be broken in the crash under the seats and you won't be able to get out.

Yeah, in general, I'm thinking you ain't surviving a plane crash most of the time regardless of what position you are in...

^ It depends on the type of crash. This is obviously based off people who survive and how they did it. I like that attitude better.
