daphnesays...Well, at least they aren't on a cell phone.
dotdudesays...Not a single collision . . . amazing.
roosh4says...I bet you their accident rate is not that much lower than ours since they are forced to actually pay attention.
farmerbuzzsays...India appears to have one of the worst accident rates in the world: "Despite India having less than one per cent of the world's vehicles, the country accounts for six per cent of total road accidents across the globe and ten per cent of total road fatalities."
therealblankmansays...Wow. There's actually a kind of beauty to watching this. If I ever make it to India, however, I'm sticking to taxis.
roosh4says...farmerbuzz: i'd delete my comment in shame if i could
lebuitragosays...I think I'll stick with buses if I'm ever there, the bigger the better
deathcowsays...except Mexican busses, lebuitrago! (( plunge! ))
deadfoxsays...omg that's CRAZY! just total chaos. as fas as mexican buses go-- it's those high altitude switchbacks coupled with buses with no maintenance and bad brakes that get ya everytime.
davideosays...It's like watching ants, or fish...Just in large, heavy metal containers
Tyrantsays...There's traffic like that here in Bangkok too.
thwartsays...I wonder where their tax money is going?!
phoenixsays...Someone should invent some sort of traffic device to help these people. Maybe have it use colored lights .. like red, yellow and green for example.
winkler1says...There are traffic lights in some areas..cool innovation too, they have an LED countdown telling you when it's going to change. Everyone's mellow 'till about 5, then the beeping and jockying for position resumes.
viewer_999says...While this is crazy, I bet it does build skill. As stated above, people are forced to pay attention, and it almost moves like a dance, or foot traffic in a busy mall. There are quite a few skilled maneuvers in the vid.
It's still crazy though.
Zifnabsays...*promote
siftbotsays...Promoting this classic video back to the front page; last published Tuesday, April 18th, 2006 6:52pm PDT - promote requested by Zifnab.
Zifnabsays...*wtf
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Wtf) - requested by Zifnab.
fireflysays...*travel
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Travel) - requested by firefly.
Deanosays...Surprised I didn't vote for this the first time around. Watch the video carefully in the bottom right-hand corner. Note the pedestrian who gets sandwiched between a motorbike and a car - I think pedestrians there should campaign for a few pavements.
reedsays...Looks pretty normal and unexciting to me. Not any different from any busy city in the US at a place with no light. Now if everyone was going 50 MPH, *that* would be worth watching!
