Hilarious Timothy Leary interview

The television legend Art Linkletter is single handedly responsible for the relentless urban legends about the legions of teenagers who jumped off the roofs of buildings high on LSD, under the impression that they could fly. Apparently Linkletter's daughter was mentally ill prior to her use of psychedelics, and her tragic dive to the pavement below is the only known case of "death by flying on acid." Dr. Timothy Leary and Art Linkletter get into it in this oddball interview from the end of the seventies. RT: 10:18.

The infamous sandbag "interview."

And so long as we're giving credit for LSD, I think Albert Hofmann, Humphrey Osmond, Cary Grant, Alfred Hubbard, Myron Stoleroff, Richard Alpert, the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and millions and millions of artists, thinkers, musicians, and creators (with thanks to William Pickard & Clyde Anderson) deserve to share in the credit of the promulgation and appreciation of this wonderful mind-expanding substance.

Similar to the marijuana nonsense, and more recently the salvia bullshit. Everytime you make a drug illegal you take control away from the people and put it in the hands of the criminals.
