Now, stay tuned for more American Idol

I wouldn't elect anyone. I don't need to be "led", unlike some.
bobknight33says...Fair point.
However there are stupid people than not. Hence there there are only 2 choices. Elect leaders to help stupid people understand how to properly behave and live life, or eliminate them. Since we are a "just" nation we decided to elect leaders. ( however many of these leaders have been corrupted and they should be eliminated) Since we can't "eliminate" them either we will have to un elect the bad guys and elect others.
Honesty is more important than the party and he smaller the government the better.
probiesays...The problem isn't the "bad guys". Power corrupts, no matter who takes control; whether they be Democrat or Republican; whether they be seasoned, career politicians or straight out of the gate. So both sides are equally at fault.
You label people whose views differ from yours as "stupid", and your only solution is to elect others to "help" them understand they need to behave a different way? A bit fascist, don't you think? Not to attack you, but if that's your solution, then you genuinely haven't thought hard enough about it. Nor have any of the politicians who feel the same way, regardless of which side they're on.
Again, the problem isn't the bad guys. The problem is people don't think and act for themselves. They are too wrapped up in what the other guy is doing, and think they have some right to influence them. THAT is the problem. Gun ownership, gay marriage, drug use, take your pick from any contested issue in today's society.
All this rhetoric on Fox News or MSNBC is just masturbation, as well as the give and take that Republicans and Democrats continue to do in the government. There is *no* lesser of two evils, imho. Sure, the dream of smaller government is a nice one. But it's not reality and history tells us, it's not going to happen. The government will continue to grow as both sides continue to feed it, and push their agendas on trying to influence each side. You can't just trim down an infection and hope it will stay the same size.
siftbotsays...Moving this video to JiggaJonson's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
