Madagascar Ant/Wasp ancestor

These ants actually bring the larva to their prey which no other ants does.

One of a kind they say. They share similar qualities to wasps and are generally pretty awesome. That's a scary thing.

Noo, stop destroying their nest with your machete!

my first thought? some conservationist worrying about how this ant species is so rare. Second thought : its deservedly rare. Bringing the vulnerable kids out to eat instead of bringing the food to them? That's a recipe for disaster if ever I heard one.
