(youtube) First Place Winner, June 2012 BUSTED! Video Contest
I was sitting at my computer when I heard a loud crash. I looked at Commander to see a car had hit my fence. My brother and I ran out the front door to confront the driver, who appeared to be getting ready to take off. He had no license, no insurance, and was from out of state.
I was able to get the fence repaired the same day. And, I love showing off this video to people. The Logitech alert system is priceless! I have a three camera system and I will eventually buy 3 more. I can't say enough good things about your product.
The video was captured by a Logitech Alert Camera. Learn More about Logitech Alert video security cameras:

hmmmmm... possibly a viral campaign?
The Youtube user name is "Logitech Alert Videos", so I would say so...
bareboards2says...*commercial. Yep, commercial.
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Commercial) - requested by bareboards2.

Velocity5says...This Logitech YouTube account has published dozens of customer videos, but none of the ones I looked at seemed to give any indication that they were faked.
Check out, for example, the earthquake in the server room.
*nochannel *wheels *law *fail
siftbotsays...Invocations (nochannel, fail, law, wheels) cannot be called by Velocity5 because Velocity5 is not privileged - sorry.
kceaton1says...This just felt fake due to the fact that the brother and the dude looking at this at the computer get outside and stop the car from taking off in about 12 seconds--maybe a touch less than that. First, typically you go to the program and look at what is happening, this would take you atleast 5 seconds unless you have it ON SCREEN, READY TO GO!
Next, you have to tell your brother and start to go outside to the car--I'm going to guess this might take anywhere from 5-10 seconds depending on where your brother is at. THEN you have to get to the car outside, the quickest part almost, about 5 more seconds.
Seemed fake to me.
I mean, is their house robbed every other weekend or something? Why the hell are they on adrenaline when it comes to "getting someone" for house property or maybe a robbery related issues. Nobody I've ever known has been that paranoid and I've known paranoid people. The viral-video/commercial line seems like what this is to me (maybe even a straight up one to some degree, because of the username... connection).
budzossays...Fake and ill-advised. Never, EVER, block the path of a car with your body.
Fletchsays...Isn't this technically kidnapping? Forcing a guy out of his car by threatening him with a gun?
