Chris Garcia won a Hugo award for Best Fanzine, The Drink Tank, this is his acceptance speech.

For those who aren't familiar with the Hugo: The Hugo Awards, presented annually since 1955, are science fiction’s most prestigious award. The Hugo Awards are voted on by members of the World Science Fiction Convention (“Worldcon”), which is also responsible for administering them.

This is awesome. You can tell this guy has poured his whole life into his work - and it's great that he's being recognised for it.

I just love how genuine this guy is. It just seems so real when I think of the other award shows like the Oscars, Emmy, or the award for the most awesome sifter of the year whos name rhymes with critical_d.

Chris definitely gave us a Roberto Benigni moment. James Bacon was equally as entertaining. The video doesn't show how many times he circled the bannister by the steps before he rushed up to podium to say something.
