BUKET's notorious Hollywood Freeway tag.
He was recently arrested, and I'm sure this YouTube video didn't help his case.
LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles tagger made famous by a video of his work on YouTube has been sentenced to three years and eight months in prison.
The district attorney's office said Thursday that 26-year-old Cyrus Yazdani, who goes by the name "Buket," was on probation after pleading guilty to 32 felony vandalism counts in December.
Yazdani was arrested in May after an online video surfaced of him boldly scrawling his moniker on a bridge above the Hollywood Freeway.
He pleaded no contest to one count of felony vandalism in July and agreed to pay $117,196 in restitution .
Prosecutors say he only paid $400 and recently caused more than $14,000 in damage to bridges over the Los Angeles River near downtown early this year.

nach0ssays...Personally, not a fan. This seems like an incredibly dumb attention grab. His other stuff is pretty cool I suppose, but this particular tag sucks. Granted, he's in an awkward position, but that's exactly the beef I have. It's not about his art, it's about the stunt.

radxSomebody should have beaten the living shit out of him. Not for the graffiti, don't care about that. But if he slipped, he would have caused a major accident below. *eia

I've seen much worse 'round these parts..
videosiftbannedmeToo bad he didn't create a red splotch of "art" on the highway below. Between the two, I'd rather look at that.
ElJardineroI hate it so much that these morons write their names all over the place and then call it art.
Me pooping in their mouths would have more artistic integrity.

SketchCleanup costs in Los Angeles county for graffiti removal is apparently close to $30 million. Sorry, but in a bankrupt state, I'd rather pay the salaries for teachers than have to put up with this stupid bullshit. I have no problem with the art form when applied appropriately, but tagging is just fucking irritating. Upvote for the arrest.

It makes me wonder: what if they gave up on graffiti altogether? I think the problem is that we call it "clean up" when in reality what they are doing is wiping the canvas clean to give the next douchebag a nice new surface to paint on. I say fuck it, let them write over their shit over and over till it is just a gray blob of melted overrun paint.
chilaxeThis scumbag has already cost society more than he'll ever contribute. If he dies in prison he'd be doing the world a favor.
alizarinGraffiti is awesome, you all are a bunch of old men shaking your fists at teenagers and complaining about your taxes.
nach0ssays...Street art is pretty much here to stay. Some of it is pretty compelling. Some of it is a nuisance. Check out KAWS or banksy for starters. Forward to the 2:00 point on the banksy video. Another good site is The Wooster Collective. They show all kinds of different street art.

Society's resources aren't free. The next time one of your loved ones dies of a curable disease, like cancer, remember that you advocate draining society's resources from science and funneling it into these attempts at illusory social prestige.
