Godzilla Resurgence[4] (シン・ゴジラ Shin Gojira?) is an upcoming Japanese science fiction kaiju film featuring Godzilla, produced and distributed by Toho. It is the 31st film in the Godzilla franchise and the 29th Godzilla film produced by Toho. It is Toho's first Godzilla film in 12 years since 2004's Godzilla: Final Wars and is intended to be Toho's own reboot of the franchise to rival the success of Legendary's reboot.

They are going for a direct adaptation of the original rubber suit. Stupid grin, tiny arms and massive tail et all.

The Japanese title is literally "New Godzilla".

This looks a tad better than that horrid "teaser" a few months ago.

Are you sure it's his tail? It seems to grow and shrink several times during the trailer.

Now I'm nervous about seeing that radioactive fire breath.
