braindonutsays...In the first 5 minutes it shows its hand. Quoting people blatantly funded by ExxonMobil, then going on to show incomplete quotes from the interviews... Any video that shows quick snippits of an interview without showing the question asked or the entire answer should be disregarded entirely, from the outset.
vairetubesays...or anything with glenn beck
Fusionautsays...Techno music + Glenn Beck + out of context = TRUTH!
BreaksTheEarthsays...An 'expert' that Beck shows is from the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Not a familiar name? They created this ad that you may have seen:
http://www.videosift.com/video/They-call-it-pollution-we-call-it-life-Anti-Global-Warming-Reality-Propaganda
gwiz665says...While a seethe with lie induced rage when I see Glen Beck, I do like Bjorn Lomborg. His argument is very convincing, and completely different than the "global warming does not exist".
gwiz665says...And I just love that Glen Beck can't see that he does EVERYTHING he says pro-global warming guys do about most subjects. Fox has a huge blind spot.
dystopianfuturetodaysays...I'm actually surprised at how many people are willing to set science aside and buy into this kind of propaganda. Even here on Liberaltarianatheistsift, there are plenty who accept this argument on faith with one side of their mouth, while mocking religious people out of the other side.
If you aren't skeptical of these types of fringe conspiracies, you are no more rational than the religious.
Stormsingersays...It's not a blind spot...it's completely intentional. After all, they can't find any -facts- to support their stance, so they -have- to "create" some.
