I read the book several years ago and have been eagerly waiting for this movie to come out. Its a great story. I think what is most compelling about it is that the technique they use is legal. If you are good enough at blackjack, you will crush the house (over the long run of course).

The book is great and this looks like it'll be a good film. The main complaint that I heard though is that they didn't do a good job casting. The star here in the film isn't Russian or Asian. The real MIT team had mostly ethnic members and their disguise was that they were foreign high rollers visiting Vegas on daddy's money (under the stereotype that foreigners have money).
