articiansays...Guy in a suit.
Reminds me of those R2D2-like bots that would roll around some colleges, trade-shows and other institutions that just featured a voice modulator/remote speaker to make it sound "robotic". I guess that's some kind of progress?
SevenFingerssays...I don't know.... I didn't do any research, obviously. But that looks a little clunky to try to fit around a person. But it does makes more sense how it was able to stand without them fearing it falling over.

entr0pysays...Yeah, it's a robot costume. If you were expecting an actual robot I don't think Comic Con is the place to look. But as a costume it's fantastic.

articiansays...Yeah, it's exactly the kind of thing I've fantasized about making for a halloween costume, myself. I wasn't trying to call it out to decrease it's coolness factor. It's more like the description and in-video explanation that kind of put me off as being deceptive, and there were several things that jumped out at me declaring it's non-roboticness.

oohlalasassoonsays...Well now you can! You've got 100 20-hour workdays between now and then to put in the 2000 man-hours required. Wear protective eyewear.

Fletchsays...Comic Con is on my bucket list.
