Giant 11 month old baby weighs an amazing 28 kg (55 pounds).
South America, Colombia. Usually this is the weight of an 8 year old child! (LiveLeak)

Unfortunaterly I don't speak Spanish, would be interesting to understand the reporter.

I have no idea what channels to put in here.. 'Cooking' probably won't work =)

I have a pretty faint understanding of spanish, but I believe the boy suffers from a medical condition. I had the exact thoughts you did, but then they started interviewing the doctor and I picked up on the mother mentioning the Thyroid gland.

Then they mention something about hormone secretion for the past 2 months right before they interview the doctor. I wish I could understand the rest, but I understand your outrage MG.
