Is it possible to spend 8 years ranting about protecting freedom, crushing terrorism and fanatics that hate democracy...

...and then take a fanatical position that doesn't believe in freedom to have an opinion or democracy to represent the people rather than "The Party"

I'm sure the Taliban have a purity test as well.

Reagan is not the Republican to be emulating. Reagan was the start of the modern Republican party. The Republican party needs to get back to what they used to stand for: small government and economic conservatism.

The only differences between the Democrats and the Republicans now is the source of the money they burn. Democrats live off taxes and Republicans live off loans from China. Neither party delivers on any of their promises.

These are politicians we are talking about, this is not news.

Perhaps some day we shall have a government of public representatives, rather than politicians. That day is not today.
