I love how the Rabbi quotes Hitchens on one context, the quote he wants to prove wrong. Then he quotes then again, this time throwing something different and often out of context. Therefore he thinks that proves the former statement false. The Rabbi has no logic in his arguments and refutes nothing Hitchens said .... what a crazy old Jew

Sighed heavily when the rabbi brought up the fact that we haven't found life on other planets.
Seriously, the fact that he's so poor at arguing and has so poor arguments makes this hard to watch in one sitting.

So true. It's really disheartening...

I applaud Hitchens in the simple fact that he started off, and kept up for quite a while, the ideal of the debate; namely the argument for and against the existence of God. Meanwhile the Rabbi fire the first personal attack volley directly at Hitchens not five minutes into the "debate". seems to me that Hitchens was the only one there to debate.

Well, the rabbi seemed most eager to point out the errors in Hitchens book, but in the midst of all his insane babble, there were some attempts at discrediting his misunderstood form of evolution, and if you can point out the improbability of a horse creating itself, God wins by default, of course. What the rabbi doesnt get when he is declaring that Hitchens god is time, is that its not time, but algorithmic math that does the job. He has not understood the power of Darwins idea at all, which is why Darwin gets the credit for it in the first place. Natural selection and evolution was concepts that had been touched on long before Darwin, but what Darwin did was to understand the amazing power in the resulting algorithm.

Time, put simply, isnt even that big an issue. It is true that the universe is old, Boteach seems to imply the earth is 16 billion years old, which is wrong, the universe itself is 13,7 billion, earth around 4,6. Life itself is around 3.5 billion years old, and that is more than enough time. Infact, Natural selection is so powerful that there could have been even more change in those vast stretches of time.

I love how the Rabbi says that genetic mutations can only be explained by God, cause of the direction of these mutations. Science has well documented evidence that cosmic rays from exploding supernovas easily causes genetic mutations in life, among other things. I don't think the Rabbi even mentioned how these mutations are effected by the environment, and because of this most of the mutations are not random.
