The frame rate is slow, but if you catch the frame just before the explosion, there is either a incredibly low plane, or a truck/van.

Looks more like the front end of a tactically guided missle in my personal opinion.

The plane was travelling about 513 feet per second. If the video source was about 30 frames per second, the plane would have moved 17.1 feet per frame of video. I think it should show better than it does.

The frame rate of this video looks low enough that it could have missed the plane altogether!

I believe this is the video they released stills of before, the one that was dated Sept 12th? Although they seemed to have trimmed that part off of the bottom.

there were two gate cameras aimed in this same direction; the earlier released frames are from the other gate camera, which we can now view the full footage from and catch a larger, more tantalizing blur than this 'nose cone'. the frame rate is terrible, like 1 or 2 frames per second. No way is this 30f rames per second, deathcow, look at the smoke.

These new videos are a big let down for me. If it was a plane, and they have 30 fps footage of it, that has to be soo crazy looking. They're the Pentagon, they have to have better surviellance footage.

The explosion does look like a oil based substance explosion, but it could have been a high explosive.

Looks like a plane to me. The lens on the camera and distance from the object of interest give the illusion that it's very small. The building is five stories tall or about 70 feet above ground level, while a 757 fuselage is only a little over 13 feet in diameter, vertically. Even if you could see the whole tail of the plane in the frame it is only 44 feet tall, which would still be dwarfed by the building.
