Florence + the Machine: Seven Devils -- Music Video

This is the "unofficial" ( I can't find enough information one way or the either; but, it does appear to be a decently made fan piece) music video for Florence + the Machine's (that is the stylized band's name they're also known as Florence and the Machine): Seven Devils, of the album Ceremonials. This song was also used (March, 2012) in a trailer for the upcoming second season of HBO's successful Game of Thrones.

This is a very strong, atmospheric, and melodic song-type. It has a hint of rock and roll, but it has hints from the likes of Enya and Evanescence--thus allowing this music to be what it needs to be. It may be hard to define a "region" of music to stick it in. Gaelic ~somewhat~, chanting type music may be the closest you get at most points. Paul Epworth helps define the "Machine" with Isabella Summers also helping a little plus many others (writing for the most part, with Paul and Florence doing most of it), all on this album: Ceremonials.

PS-If others know more about them that I don't (like more tags that they should be under), please leave a small conversational piece below of course and I will add as needed. Thank you.

The main members of the group are (an, originally, English/U.K. band--the early albums being lighter the newer being darker):

Florence Welch
Robert Ackroyd
Christopher Lloyd Hayden
Isabella Summers
Tom Monger
Mark Saunders

Lyrics (they may be incorrect in some spots, but these seem to be the most accurate I could find. If you find better send a comment to me @kceaton1, copy this video's address above and paste it into the top, then explain what you need to and send any improvements or changes you have found that are official or have been certified in some manner...BTW almost all the lyric sites have "crowd" rather than "crown", but if you read a lot of the forums you realize that most people do not think that is the correct lyric; so I'll keep this for now):
------
Holy water cannot help you now
A thousand armies couldn’t keep me out
I don’t want your money
I don’t want your crown
See I’ve come to burn
Your kingdom down

Holy water cannot help you now
See I’ve come to burn your kingdom down,
and no rivers and no lakes can put the fire out
I’m gonna raise the stakes, I’m gonna smoke you out

Seven Devils all around me
Seven Devils in my house
See they were there when I woke up this morning
I’ll be dead before the day is done

Seven Devils all around you
Seven Devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning
I’ll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done

...and now all your lies will be exorcised,
and we will find your sayings to be paradox,
and it’s an even sum
It’s a melody
It’s a final cry
It’s a symphony

Seven Devils all around me
Seven Devils in my house
See they were there when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done

Seven Devils all around you
Seven Devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done
Before the day is done
Before the day is done

They can keep me out
’Till I tear the walls
’Till I save your heart
and to take your soul
For what has been done
Cannot be undone
In the Evil's heart
In the Evil’s soul

Seven Devils all around you
Seven Devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done

*promote Let us try a morning promote. This of course being the well-used song for the second season trailer in HBO's, George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones (off to the right currently--early March of 2012).

XX--XXOh and if anyone can see the Amazon store entries I put in, tell me, for now I'm assuming it's messed up or not getting along with my sift. (Actually I did just find it, a bit odd, it just showed up in my homepage moments ago--so I'll have to see what else I may need to do for them.)

I really do like the melody of this song and moreover the lyrics are a perfect fit. Seven Devils being what I would assume to be the seven deadly sins. It's great wordplay and it shows that their is a strong sense of despair in the air--maybe this person has lost their battle (with these Devils--but, very much will make sure they burn--if that's the last thing they do) and like it says tonight/today they'll die by their own hand or perhaps someone wanting revenge. Ultimately this is someone expecting the worse, but no matter what they seek redemption in some form I think.

Damn blocked

Where are you at? This is just a youtube video, answer real quick and maybe I can correct this with a non-blocked version from somewhere else.

edit- Right now I'm trying the Dailymotion version, but it does have a short commercial in front which is a tad annoying. The other link I have is this embed from youtube which you say is region blocked, I'd love to know where you're at so I can try to track down a better version amongst the many non-official youtube videos, which may be hard to do, BTW here is the youtube embed:

If people have problems with the 15 second commercial let me know and I'll replace and PLEASE let me know if it is still region blocked and where you are at. Thanks.

The entirety of Ceremonials is fucking amazing and everyone should have it, listen to it and LOVE it!!

What he said! This album is a must have!

I'm a little confused by this video though. I don't recognize all of the video clips, but a good number of them are just taken from other Florence and the Machine music videos. Since we never actually see her singing any of the lyrics of this song along with the music I must say I'm somewhat skeptical at the authenticity of it actually being done by the band. But I could very wrong about that as well.

You may be right as I couldn't find this linked ANYWHERE in their (the bands) official listings. This is only up at two places at the moment, but it was much better than a still. So maybe I'll change some wording above if I sincerely cannot find more information on it's origin.

Edit-I think I found enough to safely call this a well made fan piece. Hopefully we get the real one soon enough. Now, I'm off to find the most accurate lyrics: towards the end I think some of the lyrics may be wrong as they do seem a bit " out of place".
