This show was such unbridled genius. It's a shame Fox canceled it.

I wouldn't call it genius (perhaps because I was expecting a science fiction show, not a transplanted western). But it definitely had a good-to-large number of great lines and scenes. Well worth watching, in either case.

Firefly was one of the best written shows I have come across.
Were it still on air, I might have reason to own a television.

I had the same experience. I only started enjoying it once I stopped expecting it to do SciFi.

Fantastic show, and this episode was probably the best one.

This is why I never understood the whole mercenary business (which exists to this day). How do you keep one of your employees from shooting you in the leg whenever a better deal comes across? Just hope your business never dries up???

I wish the captain wasn't such a smart mouth, he should talk less and just deliver some of those great lines, but Nathan Fillion just had to put his comedic background to use, leave the comic relief with the pilot guy. Also, the pilot had no believable chemistry with Zoey, they never seemed like a married couple to me. I'd change the character to reflect that or scrap them being married.

Awesome show nonetheless.
