handmethekeysyousays...This actually happened to my aunt when she was 5. She stayed on the subway when my grandfather got off. He ran to the next station and beat the train. This was in the 50s.
Xaxsays...Wow, I would've freaked.
videosiftbannedmesays...I did this to my sister and Mom in New York City's Macys department store during Christmas. I was about 5? and I saw an elevator open, so I bolted for it thinking we were all going to get on. The last thing I saw was my sister running towards the closing doors, yelling "STAY THERE!" So when the elevator stopped, I naturally got off.
Now, my thinking was, I would get off the elevator, and wait right by the doors until they rode it up and got me. Of course, their thinking was 'he's going to rid the elevator back down'. So when the elevator arrived back to them without me, well....you can figure out the rest.
About 30 minutes later, here comes my sister with my Mom in tow, both of their eyes blazing. I'm sure had they had those kid harnesses back then, I would have been tied up in one faster than you could blink.
jdbatessays...I live in portland, oregon where this happened, the dad was on the news, and talked about how he was crying. The lady who stayed with the boy is pretty typical of portlanders. It's a great city, not the first time people on the max have helped people when needed. Not enough stories like this in the news nowadays.
KnivesOutsays...Most people are good. I believe that.
alizarinsays...This is how I pick up women
kymbossays...This happened to my brother on the London underground in peak hour when he was about 12. We were cramming in to get on the train, then as the doors closed my dad and I turned around to see my brother waving at us from outside the train. I flipped, but my dad was completely calm. we got off at the next station, and when the next train came, my brother calmly stepped off right in front of us. To this day I don't know how they both were so chilled about it.
MaxWildersays...*tear*
gtjwkqsays...When I was only 5, the train... ah, never mind. This never happened to me.
mxxconsays...did you notice how quickly those doors opened and closed? no wonder dad didn't have time to get out.
that train conductor should be beaten with a rail.
