We had and could have again a very good public school system, we're busy trying to destroy it though, render it impotent and then hand it over to private hands. Where it will flourish as something completely for profit and not in the interest of the students whatsoever.

But, wouldn't trying to be the best school there is part of the competition of privatizing?

Though of course it will just turn into a few companies who own all schools who in turn are owned by a parent company that lobbys(?) the government.
