Erm, Did He Just Say 485 Billion Health Insurance Subsidies?

I'm sure giving $485 billion to an industry that is already showing record profit is the only logical move in order to get them more customers and more profits. I'm just not exactly sure why he thinks that's a good thing.

I'm a bit unclear on why his opinion of the internet is relevant here.

In point of fact, he's one of the very few in Congress who appears to be standing up for the people, rather than the corps. Evidence that this stance is truth or an illusion would be meaningful and valuable, but the internet?

West Virginia Senators have a lot to atone for since Robert Byrd left office, lol.
