Mikus_AureliusBeheading isn't quick. Heads are responsive for awhile after you cut them off, so they're experiencing something, and I bet they don't like it. If you're going to kill something violently, I think you need to smash up the brain ASAP.

oritteropoIt's because they're responsive that @Magicpants was able to say that the guillotine is humane - they asked some of the victims about the experience.
