David discusses whether the word pillage and rape being put together, kind of takes the edge off of raping. Indeed has the thought of vikings trotting around raping things, actually become funny?

Raping English women makes me feel part of Norwegian cultural heritage.

I expect to go to England soon too wearing this.. it's going to be good.

I think the perfect word to describe this guy is "twerp".

I think this probably actually comes from the original meaning of the word "rape". It's original meaning was "violent seizure" or "plundering". The modern usage of the word does not properly fit; just as the rape of the Sabine women in Roman mythology/history would probably be better called the kidnapping of the Sabine women the term "rape and pillage" probably didn't originally have anything to do with forced sex.

That's not to say Vikings didn't rape anyone, they certainly did, but so did nearly every other military force in history.

I couldn't help wondering while watching this, how long was i going to have to wait for it to become funny?... oh well...
