David Lee Roth explains why Van Halen's Tour Contract stated that there were to be no brown M&Ms backstage.

I've always had doubts about this claim...why the need for a huge contract when, as he said, most bands got by with a few pages? It's hard to believe that it wasn't designed to hide things like this clause.
