sepatownsays...i love Carell's almost orgasmic face after he hears "that's what she said". brilliant.
BoneRemakesays...I have been waiting to see that since last week when it was leaked out he was doing a cameo.

Kofisays...I miss Brent *
probiesays...Ever notice that when actors do a character again after a few years away from it, they just don't get it exactly right again? Not in this case. Ricky Gervais nailed Brent. I'm glad I just got to watch the clip instead of having to sit through an entire steaming pile that show has become just to see this.
ZappaDanMansays...Very funny. I love steve's look of: *finally, somebody gets me*

I respectfully disagree. I can't put my finger on it though - was it that he was just too sparky and energetic, or was it that I'm too used to seeing Gervais being painfully unfunny in everything outside of the office and extras series 1, and that's colouring everything he does now?

Go on. Your first answer was more on the mark then the latter, laced with sarcasm and envy. Put some real thought into this time. You might be able to figure it out then.

dannym3141says...I'll tell you why - it was because gervais shouldn't do cameos. He was shoe-horned in. As "well done" as it ever could be, it couldn't be perfect, and so it felt a bit unnatural.
And gervais, unfunny? I suggest you go and get back under that rock you came from, if you didn't notice the last few years going by, you won't miss the next few either.
Also don't forget that this show isn't about HIM. He can't be the exact character because that character was the centre of the good version. Also, the character that he was bouncing off was a poor man's version of himself - how the hell can he create awkwardness out of that?
antsays...Meh, not funny. I guess I won't have to watch this episode.
siftbotsays...Tags for this video have been changed from 'rickey gervais, steve carell, office' to 'ricky gervais, steve carell, the office' - edited by calvados
Xaxsays...Felt more like Ricky than Brent to me... although it was nice to see a bit of the character back again. They should make him Steve's replacement.
Issykittysays...Seems like a bit of a *COMMERCIAL, no?
