A friend of mine, Alex Godfrey emailed me with the following message: “I just went to an odd little thing in a little park called the Clerkenwell Festival. Bands, bouncy castle, dog show, jumble sale. As I was leaving with a friend we came across this very strange and kind of scary little table with a cardboard machine on it, and these two terrifying dolls on the grass in front. Some little kids came along to look at it and the man at the table asked me to pour a bag of sand into the machine…”

oritteroposays...Interesting In ancient times these would more likely have been water powered, and obviously made with wood, leather, and bronze instead of plastic.
