All kidding aside, I thought this was one of the most important keynotes at that event, because the issues are the most immediately near in their potential ramifications.

Cronyxsays...You've got to read The Age of Spiritial Machines, and The Singularity is Near. Also, I'm really glad to see your enthusiasm, but if you sift any of the videos from the Summit, I have every intention of sifting them all as my queue permits, but if you want to help me with that, do you think we could keep the title, tags, description format the same as the ones I've already got? It'll help make it easier to find everything.

I read Cory's Eastern Standard Tribe a few weeks back, and enjoyed it.
djsunkidcronyx- I own a copy of Spiritual Machines, and fully intend to read Singularity soon. I lurked on the SL4 list for a few years, but the volume of traffic just eventually got to be too much to keep up with. Anyway, I switched up the description of the Eliezer vid, and I'll add a future tag. I don't think that there is enough room for "The Human Effect of The Intelligence Explosion" so i think that The Intelligence Explosion and Humanity" is a good compromise.
dag- Eastern Standard Tribe is good, but let me recommend Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom. I preferred it. Yuffie FTW.
