acidSpinesays...Yanks haven't really moved on from the wild west have they. They just shoot blacks instead of indians
longdesays...This has got to be a training video.
GeeSussFreeKsays..."I have not confirmed the details of the police agencies name in this officer involved shooting. I want to be careful to not ever post something that may later be found to not be real. It is possible this may be a staged training video. Regardless if its training or not, this can happen and it HAS happened. We report and you decide."
From the source.
nominosays...pull a gun on a cop, get shot. pop pop pop
Paybacksays...Shitty video quality. If you stop at 0:06 you can plainly see the pistol in the dead gentleman's right hand. As he was dropping the rifle, his right hand whipped up. That's a "clean" shoot.
lavollsays...isnt the guy in the back shouting "gun"?
Offsajdhsays...Hmm .. I might be speaking right out of my ass now, but the casual way the officers approaches the "suspect" isnt very good training demonstration. Even when a suspect has been shot, shouldn't you approach him cautiosly making sure that he isnt about to pull the gun that he had?
I mean, the officer seems to be putting his gun back into his holster while the suspect still has the gun in his right hand (you can see the gun in his hand when he is down on the ground).
Babymechsays...By training video, I think he meant - a video of a training sequence. If the officers in the video were training, they'd be pretty casual, knowing that they had 'finished' that situation. If it is real, there is no way they wouldn't keep their guns trained on the guy until they had confirmed that he was dead or at least entirely incapacitated.
ReverendTedsays...>> ^lavoll:
isnt the guy in the back shouting "gun"?
He is, because he can see the suspect is drawing a handgun as he sets the rifle down. You can see he is still holding the handgun once he's on the ground. This is clearly a training exercise.
Edit: Well crud, I replied to this guy's comment before realizing that point had been addressed even before he asked.
Fletchsays...I'm not so sure it's a training video. Badguy when down kind of hard on his skull, and you can hear people (neighbors?) in the background.
cricketsays...*dead
siftbotsays...This video has been declared non-functional; embed code must be fixed within 2 days or it will be sent to the dead pool - declared dead by cricket.
