Cop Pot-Burger Eater Outraged After Verdict

Two Burger King employees laced a couple of whoppers with marijuana and gave them to two police officers. The overreaction of the press and the officers is hilarious, amazing, and disappointing. The cop apparently thinks he could have died that night. I would be more leery of domestic disturbances as an officer of the law as opposed to a 4 hour buzz.

What do you expect when the judge is Jerry Garcia?

Seriously though, the cop is totally overreacting. It's still a crime, but a little pot (or a lot) isn't going to kill you. It's not like they laced his burger with PCP or amphetamines. Drugs are bad, mmmkay?

If they couldn't taste it, it wasn't enough to get them high. Or perhaps they could taste it, and just decided to eat their whoppers anyway.

Dunno about the BKs around your place, but the ones near mine sometimes douse those suckers in ketchup and mayo to the point where I'd imagine it can overpower the taste of pot. Especially if the two guys that made the burgers wanted to hide the fact that there's weed in there, which I'm sure they did.

THIS IS A TRAVESTY! Those criminals should serve 2-5 years MINIMUM for that, they put countless lives in danger, and defamed Burger King's good name in the process. Old Father Time the judge should be removed from office and taken to the nearest homeless shelter for a shave and shower!

"in the end we have to go home too, we have families" *tear* It was some extra spice on his burger not a bullet. I bet they didn't even get high from eating it. I think its good if they did though they would realize that it isn't as horrible as they think and instead of busting people who are smoking something that grows in the dirt they can concentrate their time on more useful things...like busting skateboarders

The idiocy contained in the comments so far is really quite staggering. Do you people really think that the officer in question is upset because he has some irrational fear of 'getting high', or that he thinks he could have died of a weed overdose?

Police officers depend on their judgment and ability to think quickly. During the course of one shift, their lives, their fellow officers lives and the lives of the citizens they protect could depend on them being at the top of their game... not unknowingly under the influence of a narcotic.

Everyone here who thinks no 'serious harm' could have resulted from the actions of these two douche bags, and that no serious punishment was called for should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

obviously you are not educated about marijuana and have never tried it.
"Marijuana must be heated before being consumed to activate the cannabanoids so one cannot simply eat raw grass. The recommended method of eating marijuana is to saute it in butter or margarine over medium heat, then to strain the remaining solids out and use the butter to cook with. A typical ratio for making the marijuana butter is one stick of butter to one eight of an ounce of marijuana, and heated for fifteen to twenty minutes."
The burger punks simply placed it on top of the burger and it would not have gotten the officers high. I'm not trying to defend them because they had no right to do it and shouldn't have but as for "serious harm" I'd have to agree with the above comment...they would have just eaten more donuts.

I'm pretty sure you can eat raw grass, Ozzie. I've done it with no ill effects and got quite wasted. It may not treat your belly very well though, which is why people put it into butter. That, and to improve the taste.
