Colombian drug smugglers, in a plane, dash for the border

The US military working with Colombian Narco police track and chase a private jet loaded with cocaine over the amazon jungle. The Colombians know that if they reach the boarder in 10 miles they will be untouchable.

i'm exactly with you on that one. i kinda knew, but seeing it is fu**ed up for sure.

and the alternative is so fucking simple, just make cocaine legal and license it, problem solved, no more expensive chasing around the jungle, no more "executing" 0.0002% of the world's daily supply and shouting "woohoo!"

jesus christ indeed.

Wow. How messed up is this? The runners knew what they were getting into and I'm not going to sob over them, but God, prohibition is just such a terrible idea. It just costs everyone more, in cash and life, only benefiting the drug lords and senior military figures who get political kudos for this sort of pointless crap.

btw, sorta sick, but lol at the google ad displayed for this video

"I hope the columbian drug lords lash out on some ex soviet migs and shoot back."

That is one the stupidest fucking thing I have ever read on this site. You'd prefer the deaths of American military soldiers carrying out the orders of their superiors over the deaths of criminals running drugs that contribute to both the United States' and Colombia's citizens' suffering? People can argue about the efficacy of the "War on Drugs" or the legality or morality of shooting down these runners, I'm cool with that, but you....you're just mindless me-too-ism that didn't even have the brains to parrot back exactly what everybody else said. I...I'm honestly floored by your severe lack of critical thought and inability to grasp the concepts of basic morals.

Deathcow, I believe the military was tailing the runners because they were trying to give the runners time to turn around and give up.

Considering we have no idea about the backgrounds of these criminals it's a little premature to judge what the law enforcement was doing. Maybe these guys are cop killers or murderers...we simply have no idea.

Rembar,

You must know by now that this site is full mindless minions who lean so far to the left that they can't stand up. They make absurd statements like making cocaine legal and then claim that they don't mean it. It's funny to see them line up lke lemmings...they just never fall off the cliff.

"yo rembar, sometimes people say things on the internet that aren't meant to be taken 100% literally, you know?

it's like the Bible."

I have no problem with people saying things that aren't meant to be taken literally, but if they say something outrageous, it's usually because it's a a metaphor or funny. Sl666's comment was just pure idiocy, and I'm not in the habit of suffering idiots.

I know I would. Prohibition violates individual sovereignty and is as such a crime against humanity; its supporters and enforcers deserve to die. Simple. Elementary. Plain.

And incidentally, I do mean for that to be taken 100% literally.

rembarsays...

How come there are laws restricting ownership of child pornography? How about ownership of guns? What about nuclear weapons? C'mon, that's prohibition, man, it's clearly violating our rights as sovereign individuals. Supporters and enforcers of such violations of humanity deserve to die.

Right?

How about this for the description instead of that horrifically written thing: "The US Military working with Colombian Narco police to track and destroy a small aircraft loaded with cocaine over the Amazon Jungle. The Colombians know that if they reach the boarder 10 miles away, they will be home free."
