yeah, sometimes good satire just kicks you in the gut.
cybrbeastsays...As if all of us going back to farmer roots would be a good idea...
I don't see the point of this clip.

He DISAGREES with the films underlying message, cybrbeast, in other words, apparantly wants computers, science and civilization, and NOT go back to savagery and farming, which is why he doesnt see the point of mocking civilization. If anyone should turn of their computer and stop being willing aides to civilization, it would have to be the ones who agrees with this film's message.
I found the film funny and thought-provoking to some degree, although I dont see it as realistic, or wise to go back to pre-civilization.. I like it here, despite the negative sides..
cybrbeastsays...Thank you BicycleRepairMan
mechadeathsays...kind of sick
messengersays...The point of the film isn't that "civilization" is bad. The point is that we spread it to people who haven't asked for it so that we can exploit their resources. I'm not saying that's the case or it's not, but that's the point of the film.
I hate the narrator's assholic, prissy, condescending tone of voice, telling me with every word that this is indeed a parody. OK. I get it. A proper documentary voice would have made this movie much more effective.
