I first heard this version of Annie's Song on my father-in-law's 8-track. It feels like Roger scraped all of the emotion out of it and made a Jack-o-lantern.

I love the original one, but I didn't think this one was that bad.

Being that I'm not a John Denver fan I had to listen his version after I heard this. I am now a John Denver fan by means of relative association.

[shrugs] It is still not that bad. I would take the original over this one for sure.

I don't know about this John Denver crap, but you'll have to pry my Roger Whittaker Christmas album from my cold, dead hands.
