That's awesome. I'm assuming the control-room chatter was spliced in later and didn't go out live? It must be on a completely isolated channel, as I've never heard an F-up where that comes through for real.

Having said that, some of this stuff was probably spliced in - esp. whenever the anchors didn't react to the chatter, likely turned into a "blooper reel". These do exist - I'm guessing it got leaked out.

Especially that weather report, for example, just before the 3 min mark. Hilarious.

What you're hearing is the control room. It used to be that when a program was broadcast, a tape would be rolled and would record the various conversations by the control room staff (director, technical director, audio, fonts, etc). Whoever posted this either worked for CNN or knows someone who did, because that's a copy a tape that was complied by various CNN employees. Its always fun when you hear people you recognize... like terry, ricky and especially vintage steve f... whose "feedback" never fail to amuse.

It should be marked NSFW. Not all that interesting considering it's almost all old CNN clips.
