Building Homes From Foam

A company in Phoenix is building homes out of foam blocks. They claim it can withstand 200mph winds, is amazing as insulation, and is totally recyclable.

Oddly, my grandfather had an insulation company in the 60’s and he built a ranch house with all interior foam walls, so I know the downsides.

1. Corners will get worn down and look ragged over a few years.
2. Kids will discover they can dent the walls with their elbows, and will.
3. (The big one). When we had a fire in that house, it spread ridiculously fast and melted all walls it didn’t burn. I hope their fire retardant is professional grade or this project will go up in flames literally and figuratively.
