I am and always have been completely underwhelmed by every Buddy Rich drum solo. Any fool can play fast.

Realy boring to watch. I'm glad he can drum fast and maby technical do stuff better than sum drummers but this to me demonstraits a real lack of pacing , buld up structure . or general design that would demon strait skill and ability whilst keeping people interested or wanting to pay attention.
