choggiesays.......*requeue
Go bone up on Buckminster Fuller, then revisit your ideas about what you think the biggest hurdle to making this planet a sustainable place is......you are all wrong....
siftbotsays...Re-queueing this video for one more try; last queued Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 3:07pm PST - requeue requested by submitter choggie.

chilaxesays...Fuller filled an entire room with his journals, but he was looking ahead and he knew at the time that eventually all of that information would be able to be contained on a disk that can fit in your pocket.
Too late for him, though. RIP.
garmachisays...seems to be *dead can anyone fix it?
siftbotsays...Invocations (dead) cannot be called by garmachi because garmachi is not privileged - sorry.
choggiesays...It works.
fissionchipssays...It's fascinating how prescient many of his predictions are. He's spot on about some things like the importance of computing and distributed sensor networks, but somewhat off on his models of social participation (for example, opinion polling through cable: in fact, the mass exchange of information had to wait for the advent of a semantic network, the internet.)
