westysays...The haptic device is the advanced part , the software is not that complex comparably if you compare it to some of the graphical , AI , and physics programming that goes into commercial games. still not bad though and stuff like this dose not need to be that complex so long as it works , its like how you can simulate quite complex procedures with very basic and cheep devices

gwiz665says...A university teacher of mine has developed a similar machine with force feedback and computer models of heart surgery, specifically infant heart surgery, since it's insanely hard to work with "blindfolded".
