Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow

"Boom Boom Pow" is a hit single by the Black Eyed Peas released as the lead single from their upcoming album The E.N.D.. The song uses the auto-tune vocal effect, and blends the genres of dance pop, electro-hop and hip hop.

"Boom Boom Pow" has remained the #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and Pop 100 for seven consecutive weeks, the group's first U.S. #1. It has also topped the Canadian and UK singles charts and reached the top ten on over ten other charts worldwide.

The single was a huge commercial success, selling 465,000 downloads in the U.S. in its first week of digital release, the third-largest number of download sales in a single week in history, and the largest single-week and debut-download totals by a group in the history of digital-download sales tracking. Thanks to very strong digital downloads and massive radio airplay in the following weeks, the song has become the group's first U.S. #1, topping the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and Pop 100 for seven consecutive weeks. The song is the second single ever to sell one million first month download sales, after Flo Rida's Right Round.[3][4] "Boom Boom Pow" has also been a huge international success reaching the top ten in multiple countries and #1 in Canada, the UK, and elsewhere.

I'm sorry Stingray, but I can't upvote such an example of WHY OUR POPULAR MUSIC SCENE IS ROTTING TO SHIT.

Also, I hope this next album really is the end for them.

Why did you do that to me?

Also @JAPR, this new pop scene looks like it's hear to stay. If this article is to be believed, Boom Boom Pow sold over 4 million copies digitally in '09. Whatever this shit is, a lot of people are throwing their money at it; the music business is gonna milk that cow dry.
