Bill O'Reilly's Hypocrisy Proven by a Guest

O'Reilly is such a cockbag.

Westy, your fake bad spelling is disturbing. Honestly I'll bet it slows down your typing, trying to think of ways to misspell words so that it looks like you don't think about what you're typing. It's like a nine-year old kid faking a limp for attention.

MrDerricksays...

I wouldn't exactly say Bill got owned. The quote he stated was indeed said by the school official. It was funny how he did sidestep the quote from his own book though. By the way I hate O'Reilly so I am not defending him.

grspecsays...

Funny how o'reilly uses the defense about the quote being taken out of context when he was doing the exact same thing only 2 seconds before. o'reilly is a major DB.

and major props to the Jeremy kid for being prepared and not putting up with bills crap.

Deanosays...

I still can't believe this guy is so rude to people. He loses the argument everytime when he talks over people and tells them to shut up. His approach to the world is to stick his fingers in his ears, shut his eyes and keep shouting.

codenazisays...

I love how Andrew, when asked if he was persecuted for speaking out and such, responded with basically "no, nothing like that". Like... even though he's on "O'Reilly's side", he's still nailing him for making mountains out of mole-hills.

archchefsays...

You know, quite frankly i dont care for O reilly nor do i dislike him. I don't think he got owned. I also don't think as a parent I would be happy if some liberal shmucks went and told my children it was ok to do drugs and have pre-marital sex.

Slyrrsays...

Who got owned by who? O'Rielly called this guy on a quote from this conference where a guy said 'if I had some ecstacy maybe I'd do it with someone'. O'Reilly said 'you' instead of 'someone'. But which is worse? Doing drugs with 'you' or 'someone'? In any event, the guy said this quote did NOT mean the speaker was condoning drug use. What kind of example is that speaker setting if he says 'a friend of mine jumped out a window while under LSD, so don't do drugs', and then in the next breath says 'maybe I'd do some ecstacy with someone'?

You don't elucidate the negative aspects of drug use by suggesting that you'd do drugs with 'someone'.

However - the subject of 'context' was sneered at by one of the posters above. 'Oh, he said you took it out of context, how quaint'. I'll avoid the obvious by pointing out that whoever posted this vid ENDED the clip after this kid got in his one zinger.

What happened after that? Could it be this guy himself got zinged and faced later on - but the one who posted the clip didn't want anyone to see it? Context - anyone? Why not post the entire interview - if you're so confident that O'Reilly was 'owned' from start to finish.....?

Fedquipsays...

The "owned" O'Reilly twice.
1. When he read him the "actual" quote (note the terror level became elevated at this time)
2. The kid quotes O'Reilly's book. To which O'Reilly responded "you pinheads"

kingsbloodsays...

Slyrr, nothing was cut. O'Reilly ends the debate with "thanks for stating your opinion, Jeremy." The entire clip with the kids is here.

Aditionally, I don't think you were listening to the full quote: "There are some psychiatrists that use ecstacy in their therapy, if I had some, I'd probably do it with someone, -(Bill interrupts but kid goes on saying)- but I don't and I've never tried ecstacy . . . " This quote was used in response to the government's very real use of LSD as a "truth" syrum. Maybe, if you had a sense of irony, you'd realize that Becker might have been speaking against the use of "bad" drugs in a proffesional setting.

But it's okay, all of us are guilty of making assumptions without thouroughly examining the evidence. Hell, just look at O'Reilly himself.

I assume you're speaking of the liberals. If so, I totally agree, and applaud you on your honesty.

Don't you love how quickly O'Reilly tries to change the subject when he's been proven wrong? Just one more example how the O'Reilly's right-wing mentality can't recognize and take responsibility for his own mistakes. What a stroker.

i dont understand how someone couldnt dislike o'reilly. he's been told to lie and he twists things into propaganda, it's disgusting!

Or perhaps its a 5 minute segment and they didnt want to spend the entire thing arguing a point when they could address other questions?

ShakaUVMsays...

Bill O'Reilly comes off very well in this segment. What the hell are all you people bitching about? If you hate him, at least find a better segment, like when he gets mad and yells at this guests.

H0Jusays...

If you think the only reason to hate O'Reilly is because he "gets mad and yells" then you completely miss the point in this post.

O'Reilly is a hypocritical, douche bag, twit.

Does he deserve to have a show on TV? Absolutely. That's the kind of free-speech society we live in. Do I have to agree with his opinions? Thankfully not, and I can choose not to watch him and I don't.

But I love it when someone nails Neo-Con-wannabe ass to the wall for talking up both sides of an issue.

He called a highschool kid a "pinhead" on national TV for simply disagreeing with him. How exactly is that coming off "very well" there bud?

rufio343says...

Both sides of this argument have there flaws.. For one, it is ok for a religion to apply a age or mentallity on acts as pre marriage sex, and drugs. And that is entirley ok, however, young adults and teenagers will not always have somone to keep telling them what is morally right in a real situation when drugs specified in this article are actually being addressed. As for somone in a posistion high as a principal of a highschool, u must take a more conservative approach to these matters, less religious and biased but still show that they have a free will to choose what they should do. For a mother of Father to take the posistion to say that we all know that you will face these things no matter how protected we try to make you eventually it will happen. Both Liberal and Conservative veiw points both hold important lessons and rules to abide by, and for one to say that liberals are schmucks or conservatives are assholes, your wrong. Their are just to veiw points plainy represented in this video. So shut up about it your both wrong and right......... And Bill O' reilly is a Deusch Bag
