mdhsays...It's music to my ears, but Maher isn't giving any good argument here. He's rattling off opinions which do him no better than any who oppose him.
aaronfragreed, but i posted it for the music to my ears portion
mdhsays...Atheistic posts always appreciated.
couplandsays...I was an atheist before I watched this clip, but now I know that BILL MAHER IS GOD.
jimnmsNotice he cuts and goes to a commercial break when he can't answer Bill's question.
budzosScarborough Godwined the argument at 3:30. You tell em Bill!
FletchScarborough is a nub.
johnald128says...disliking religions but not people believing in god is the way to go.
i was wondering, if there's a vid promoting a religion woul dit be okay for me to downvote it for that reason?
FletchNo rules for downvoting. Feel free.
CaptainPlanet420"Notice he cuts and goes to a commercial break when he can't answer Bill's question."
Music starts before Maher asks the question. It's ok though, we know Bill doesn't really know what he's talking about. No need to compensate for him.
sometimesGodwin's law!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_Law
Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies) is a mainstay of Internet culture, an adage formulated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The original law states:
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.[1]
In actual usage, according to Internet culture, the party making the comparison involving Nazis is declared to have lost the original debate (see Corollaries and Usage, below)
fungibleFive seconds of googling reveals that the "strength in numbers" quote is Jesse Ventura quoting Karl Marx not Hitler.
Nice research staff, Joe.
bamdrewnot much fun. menial arguments on both sides.
oohahhYa know, I bet I'd really enjoy having a beer with Joe Scarborough. It takes quite a person to smile, laugh, and [at least] appear to be having a good time when their solidly-held beliefs are put up under the microscope.
