siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Controversy) - requested by MrFisk.
robbersdog49says...Great stuff, but he still had to say he believes. He spends all the sketch ridiculing anything which could lead to belief, but he still couldn't make the leap that that so obviously implies.
It's a step in the right direction, but depressing that it's still not OK to not believe in america.
chilaxesays...This was 9 years ago. The marketplace of ideas isn't the quite same now, after there have been best-sellers like Dawkins' The God Delusion and Hitchens' God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything.
"Non-believers" even got mentioned in the president's inaugural address, and polls show non-believers to be the fastest growing religious group. At this rate, maybe they'll finally just drop the twaddle and start saying "rationalists."
Farhad2000says...Chilaxe is right.
Not to mention Bill's own views have matured, culminating in the Religilous movie.

He ridicules things, not everything, and nothing he said would contradict him believing in a god. He says: "I just give him a lot more credit than this".
robbersdog49says...chilax and farhad, that's good to hear. I didn't realise this was that old. Obama seems to be stepping in the right direction re: religion.
